of-town. He's been excited to have us walk down to the corral so we
can look at her. This morning he and I went to take a look. As we
started down the little dirt lane for home we had quite a surprise
waiting for us. This diamondback rattlesnake was coiled up and ready
to strike. After all was said and done, Kaiden started laughing so hard
and told me he never knew I could run so fast. I flat out shocked myself!

Holy crap! So all your pictures have made me want to move out of the city and be come a cow girl, but this post reminds me why I don't!!!! Did Kaiden kill it? I thought if you run they chase you and I also heard that the anti-venum medicine is $60,000.00!!!!! I'm glad you guys are OK and I'm glad you discovered a hidden talent-sprinting! Go Kaiden, what a stud. Naidem is intruiged by these dead snake pictures, I magnified them and he studied them and the blood spots!!!!
Lori, I bet I could run faster than you! That's how bad I hate snakes. That one is huge! Tom killed 2 snakes one Sunday they were about 4 yards away from each other and he killed them about 4 hours apart! They were right out in front of our house. I didn't see either one! Did I mention that I hate snakes. Lynette
