Glena Watson and her family have been in our ward for five years or so. Something about Glena was special from the very start. Her and Justin really hit it off. They shared a close friendship; something different than the others. She would often write him little notes or drop cookies off at our house for him. I always loved the way she made him feel so special. A couple of years ago, Glena was diagnosed with cancer. During her trial, she was always smiling, telling jokes and just being Glena. When she was placed on hospice, Justin was determined he was going to go visit her everyday. This picture was taken two weeks prior to her passing. She gave Justin this journal, a picture of her and Ken (her husband) and the sweetest little note. That was a special day for us. Justin has dedicated this journal to "The Things I Am Thankful For." I know that Glena is high on his priority list.
